At least 120 sq. ft. of space is required, which can either be owned or legally leased.

Who Can Start a Jan Aushadhi Store?
Jan Aushadhi stores can be set up by individuals, charitable organizations, hospitals, NGOs, trusts, societies, or government bodies.

To apply, the following documents are required:
- PAN Card and Aadhar Card
- Bank Statement
- Pharmacist License
- Recent Photographs
- Relevant shop documents
Financial Benefits
- Retailer Margin: Earn 20% profit on the MRP of each medicine sold.
- Distributor Margin: Earn a 10% profit margin.
- Annual Incentives: Receive up to Rs. 2.5 lakh annually if connected to BPPI systems.
